Each member of Team Type 1, however, is convinced this is wrong.<p>When Joe Eldridge and Phil Southerland started Team Type 1, they wanted to inspire people living with diabetes to achieve their dreams. Joe and Phil&#8217;s dream was to do this mile by mile on their bicycles. As athletes with Type 1 diabetes, they wanted to be living proof that anything is possible.</p></p><p>But along the way, Joe and Phil needed to dispel a few myths people had about diabetes.</p></div><p><object
