Like most moms, Dr. Linda Addonizio’s children are close to her heart. She just has more than most – nearly 400 now by her count. As director of pediatric heart transplantation at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital for almost three decades, Addonizio, 60, is as committed to saving kids as she was the day she started with the pioneering program back in 1984.
