HMO or PPO?
tudiabetes I am having such a hard time trying to figure out which type of insurance is better for a diabetic to have. Currently I signed up with BCBS of Florida through my employer at a 750.00 deductable, PPO. I chose the PPO initially becasue I didn't want to switch any of my doctors around. But now with these omnipod supplies I have to get, they told me one box was going to cost me $297.00! a three month supply over $800.00! Is this price normal or have I picked the wrong insurance? I honestly cannot af...
